Objectives:

  • Explore tobacco addiction as a chronic condition and its effect on other chronic illnesses
  • Discuss integrating tobacco treatment into chronic disease management for improved patient care
  • Increase the use of Ask, Advise, Refer brief intervention in primary care
  • Improve understanding of statewide and local resources for tobacco cessation services

Cost: There is no charge to attend this meeting.

Registration Includes: Materials and continuing education credits.

Continuing Education Credits/Contact Hours: This Live activity, smoking cessation challenge: Tobacco/Diabetes Training has been approved for up to 2.75 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
